Have you consulted your physician or health care provider? Self-diagnostics
(especially where hormone levels are concerned) can be extremely misleading; hormone levels should only be evaluated through
proper testing procedures, (e.g. a blood test). If you are currently taking synthetics you should question your physician
on proper procedures for “weaning” off synthetics.
You have checked your hormone levels and found deficiencies
or surplus. Now what? Depending on your individual situation you may decide to administer the natural Progesterone
cream or a combination of Progesterone and Estrogen treatment.
Different conditions and assessments will dictate your next
step. For instance, women experiencing symptoms related to PMS or Peri-Menopause may opt for the 1% to 2 % Progesterone
cream. These symptoms are usually caused by Estrogen dominance or just too much Estrogen in relation to Progesterone. Symptoms
include:
- Water retention
- Decreased libido (sex drive)
- Depression, mood swings
- Heavy or irregular
menses
- Weight gain
- Uterine fibroid
- Swelling breasts
For
women experiencing Post-Menopause or Menopause, depending on hormonal percentages in the body, a treatment of .05 mg or 0.1
mg of natural USP Estrogen cream may be required. In all cases if a woman opts for an Estrogen treatment, she will be
required to combine the Estrogen with a 2% to 3% natural USP Progesterone cream. Some symptoms include:
-
Predominate hot flashes and or night sweats
- Sleeping disorder
- Vaginal Dryness
-
Mood swings and easy irritability
- Loss of sex drive
- Loss of menstrual cycle
- Energy loss
-
Depression
PROGESTERONE
Guidelines for Menopausal and Pre menopausal women with average requirements
Available
in three levels of concentration:
Level 1 - 1% USP Progesterone - 167 mg per 30 ml (1 oz.) or 668 mg per 120 ml (4 oz.) tube. Apply
as required.
Level 2 - 2% USP Progesterone - 330 mg per 30 ml (1 oz.) or 1320 mg per 120 ml (4 oz). tube.
Apply as required.
Level 3 - 3% USP Progesterone - 500 mg per 30 ml (1 oz.) or 2 grams per 120 ml (4 oz.) tube.
Apply 20 mg (1/4 tsp.) once or twice daily
If a three month trial of progesterone (in different strengths)
does not relieve hot flashes or vaginal dryness, then a low dose of Pour Moi's Bi-estrogen cream may be helpful. Start
with Level 1 for the first month and increase application amounts and/or levels as required. After the third month, if
there is no noticeable improvement, consult with your physician or health care provider. Please note: No woman, with or without
a uterus or ovaries, should ever take Estrogen alone; it should always be combined with natural Progesterone.

Every woman considering the natural treatment of Progesterone
or Estrogen should research as much information as possible. There are many helpful sites on the web containing useful
information. Dr. John Lee, for example, has completed much research on the topic. A link has been included to his site
and to a few others that will provide you with additional insight into NHRT (Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy)
